3 Anniversary cards, 2 thankyou card and a get well card

I love making anniversary cards for friends on the DOcrafts forum, here are 3 recent cards, all decoupage. One is housemouse decoupage, I love the cute mice and they are such fun cards to make.

                 The gems I used are from Papermania Capsule Collections, all other  elements

are from my stash.

I made these next 2 cards as end of School term thankyou cards on behalf of Carrie. they are both decoupage and feature the Zinnia flower fairy from the Crafters Companion CD rom set.

This last card is a house mouse decouage get well card, made  for the mother of a DOcraft forum friend, who is in hospital.

On 3rd August, my son Dan will be 20, this is the birthday card I have made him using House Mouse decoupage, all other elements are from my craft stash.

sympathy card & 2 anniversary cards

I am a member of The DO Crafts craft forum and it was with deep sadness that I read that this week one of our lovely members Liz G died suddenly. I made this floral decoupage card for her daughter Louise (Pixie-Lou) and her husband Scott. They've not long celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary and now they have lost their beloved mother. I never met Liz in person but she sent my family beautiful cards and shared her original art which she made into pyramage, you will be deeply missed by so many, RIP LIz, Fi xxx

Goodbye Jo - a very sad day

Today the 34 year old daughter of my dear friend of 21 years lost her brave fight with cancer, she died peacefully in her sleep early this morning with her partner by her side, she leaves behind 2 young children.

This is the hardest card I have had to make but I needed to make it for her mother and teenage sister, my friend thanked me for it when she phoned this afternoon.

Goodbye Jo, you will be missed and you were loved by so many x

I really enjoyed my busy crafting week, especially as I wasn't too well and the crafting helped take my mind off it and relaxed me, thankyou for any comments you may leave.

Purple floral decoupage card and 4 cards made whilst on holiday in June

After all the time taken to finish the 2 scrap albums for my family last month, I've returned to cardmaking but not had time to upload any cards until today. I've also been away on an amazing weekend retreat and a week in Devon in June. I've come back refreshed and with some lovely new stash from the Crafty Devils warehouse in Barnstaple, North Devon. Also at Dartington Crystal, in Great Torrington, the Edinburgh Woollen Mill outlet there has a fill a box scheme similar to the Papermill offer, it came in A5 and A4. I chose A4 and crammed my plastic folder with 104 papers and cardstock. Pearlised, embossed, foiled, gingham, pastels, rich colours, textured, musical scores etc, so many gorgeous designs, all for £5.50, thats about 5p per A4 sheet!

First 2 photos from our family holiday & 4 anniversary cards

We have just returned yesterday from  a wonderful holiday staying in a huge Georgian house that could sleep up to 18 people, near Stroud. Carrie and I were invited by my little sister Mo, to join her and 10 other members of my family, on one night my son Dan and his girlfriend Sorrel stayed and my husband stayed the last night, as he had had to work. We had a riotous 5 days and are now recovering! 5 lively girls aged 3 to 8 kept us on our toes and made for a fun filled holiday. Ian (my brother) did a pass the parcel, each girl won a sun hat they are pictured below:
